foo fighters

the foo fighters are a great post grunge band, headed and founded by ex nirvana drummer dave grohl, explaining the genre, he takes many elements of nirvana and incorporates it into the foo fighters sound, such as sudden stops and burst of heavy music.

The most well known line up consists of pat smear/chris shiftlett on guitar, nate mendel on bass and taylor hawkins on drums and vocals, with dave grohl playing rhythm guitar and vocals.

I think that their the kind of band that grows on you, at first youll only like a couple of their best songs, and then every one on the album, at least that was what it was like for me.
